Earth Carpet Guide

The Science is in the Seed.  Growing lush, green turf with the “wrong” seed is like growing an apple tree from pumpkin seed – no amount of effort will give you the desired result. Earth Carpet® brings a revolutionary approach from years cultivating the right seeds for the right conditions.

Trending Tall Fescue

A very high turf quality tall fescue suited for low or high management

Trending tall fescue is a very high turf quality tall fescue suited for low or high management. It has demonstrated superior drought tolerance and a very dark green color in all seasons. Trending has aggressive tillering and fast establishment with good resistance to Brown Patch and Gray Leaf Spot. Superior Southeast performance and high heat tolerance completes the package for this new tall fescue.

Trending was developed from a long term program aimed at improving Brown Patch and Summer Stress tolerance in fine textured, dark green, high tiller density tall fescues. Derived from fine textured European germplasm crossed with America germplasm screened over many generations in Kentucky, New Jersey and Oregon for stress tolerance, disease resistance and high tiller numbers. Trending is a survivor.

Trending is recommended for permanent turf on parks, home lawns, sports fields and golf courses. It can be cut from 1/2 to 3 inches and still maintain density and performance. Trending can be blended with other improved tall fescues, Kentucky bluegrasses and other species for superior turf.
