General Description:
La Crosse Seed, a national leader in the forage, turf, wildlife, and cover crop seed industry, is looking for a Marketing & Communications Graphic Design Intern to execute elements of its communication plan. Intern will gain exposure to all elements of marketing, design and communication within a dynamic work environment.
Reports To:
Marketing & Customer Experience Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Print collateral creation and updating to include:
- Brochures
- Catalogs
- Posters
- Flyers
- Technical data sheets
- Creating social media posts
- Email marketing support
- Website support
- Photography/videography support
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk (or standing) and working on a computer
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Comfort with technology and strong ability to learn new systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated knowledge of marketing concepts and tactics
- Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite:
- Adobe Indesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Premier
- Adobe After Effects
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite:
- Previous design or communications experience/internship or coursework preferred
- Minimum of a one-year commitment is preferred; junior-level standing preferred
- Agriculture/seed knowledge is not required and can be taught/learned
